The Current School Year

Classes begin September of each year, but limited spots may still available for immediate enrollment in select classes. Schedule a Tour or Request More Information today.

The Next School Year

Classes for our next will begin in September, however, registration will commence the January before. The registration schedule is as follows, with specific dates found on the Calendar:

Director’s Tours for New Students begin in October and will continue through Registration. Schedule Your Tour right away and get pre-registered to have priority when Open Enrollment begins.

Returning Students must submit their updated registration forms in January, the due date will be announced by your teacher. Current Hobson families will receive notification of this deadline via email and from their teachers as the date approaches.

Siblings of Currently Enrolled Students and Alumni will have an opportunity to enroll in January.

New Students & Families: On a registration date in January (specific date TBA on the Calendar), families who have previously toured our school and submitted pre-registration forms with the director will have priority placement. If space allows after these students have been accommodated, the remaining spaces will be available for Open Enrollment. Please be aware that Hobson School classes fill very quickly and it is typical to have waiting lists, so please call and schedule your tour right away.

General Admissions Information

A fee of $90 and a signed pre-registration form is required to register and/or to hold a space on the waiting list. This is a requirement for new families only.
The full registration packet of forms must be completed and submitted at the May General Meeting, which we ask a parent or guardian from each family to attend (specific date to be found on the Calendar).

In synchronization with our local school districts, we require that students birth dates coordinate with the class to which they are applying. Therefore, children that turn two years old before September 1 are eligible for our Parent-Child program, or if they will be 3-5 years old by that date they will be eligible for our preschool program.

The May General Meeting (date to be announced) is a parent meeting welcoming new and returning members to our cooperative preschool. Member initiatives, parent participation roles, and curriculum for the coming 2018-2019 School Year will be discussed. Attendance is encouraged.
